Who We Are

The leading provider of behind-the-scenes pageant prep since 2005!

Pageants 2 Go, LLC was founded in August of 2005 by Maria-Teresa Grinneby, a pageant veteran involved in the industry as a contestant, queen, staff member, and judge for over 20 years. She has captured several local, state, and national titles for National Miss American Coed, National American Miss, Mrs. America, and the Miss America Organization. She is a two-time National American Miss National Talent winner and has also captured NAM's National Actress, Volunteer Service, and Academic Achievement titles as well as placing 1st runner-up overall at the 2008 National Miss pageant, 2nd Runner-Up at the 2007 All-American Miss pageant, and 7th at the 2004 National Teen pageant. In her years as a competitor, Maria-Teresa holds the unique distinction of having won every optional competition at either the state or national level - from Most Promising Model to Best Resume to Spokesmodel. Maria-Teresa participated in the Miss District of Columbia Pageant in July 2011, a state-level preliminary to Miss America. She was honored to receive the Miss America Academic Achievement Award, the Miracle Maker Award in recognition of her work with The Children’s Miracle Network, and the Overall Talent Award in addition to placing 1st runner-up overall.

Over the years, Maria-Teresa has developed a penchant for pageant writing and has written winning introductions and speeches for local, state, and national titleholders of all ages. A vocalist and actress, she has also become adept at working to develop ideal music cuts for talent competitions as well as winning concepts for actress entries. Maria-Teresa is a “computer geek” at heart and accredits her skills in the areas of website design and the development of Farewell DVDs to her many hours spent with her lime green Sony Vaio laptop, “Baby Vaio.”

Maria-Teresa graduated a year early from the Schreyer Honors College at the Pennsylvania State University with her B.S. in Crime, Law, and Justice with Honors where she also completed minors in English and Business. She was a 2009 Teach For America corps member in the DC Metro Area.
